This is a full-time position with responsibility to assist the senior management in (i) Preparing detailed feasibility study of the undertaken project, in light of client needs; (ii) Generating accurate project estimates, including the total cost and timelines; and (iii) Ensuring effective implementation of the approved design, reflecting excellence in outcome.

We intend to recruit a high-potential young professional with up to two (2) years of experience in the field of architectural/civil works project planning, and passion to take client-centric initiatives.

Key Roles:
Liaison with the General Manager – Projects in:
1) Carrying out detailed site assessment and assimilating evaluations with client requirements;
2) Recommending changes to the proposed design to ensure the practicality of the project;
3) Formulating the procedures, methodologies and guidelines for ensuring effective implementation of the project design;
4) Accurately estimating the material quality, quantity and cost, ensuring that the project is adjusted within the specified budget;
5) Coordinating with the execution team for the procurement of specified material, and ensuring its quality;
6) Defining and ensuring the delivery of realistic project timelines, which ensure workforce efficiency and excellence in outcome;
7) Maintaining and updating the project management record for each client in relevant file.

4. Do in-depth research on and stay abreast of the latest trends in landscape industry, including materials and design, and international best practices which are feasible within the context of Pakistan and match the needs of local clients;

5. Enhance your learning through regularly reviewing key publications in the landscaping industry, and benchmarking your work outcomes against global best practices;

6. Ensure that all communication with team members is crisply recorded and incorporated in the work;

7. Develop strong personal management practices, such as intelligently prioritizing work, producing high quality within the agreed timelines, and effectively documenting all important work done;

8. Build up resilience to handle pressure, and consistently improve performance in the light of feedback.

1. Collaborate with General Manager – Projects to work out the feasibility of the undertaken project, incorporating constraining factors such as applicable legislation and project budget;

2. Carry out detailed site assessment in meeting the client specifications, including contours, soil condition, ecology, current vegetation, lighting, roads and buildings, in coordination with the execution team;

3. Stipulate the procedures, methodologies and guidelines, and develop working templates for establishing client requirements, carrying out project site studies, cost estimates, performance evaluation and allocation of work, for ensuring the effective project execution of the approved design;

4. Work out an accurate material estimate based on the design documents, specifying the material quality, quantity and cost;

5. Recommend changes in the design, to adjust the cost of the project within the stipulated budget;

6.Generate an exact figure of the total cost of the project of the project and the fee to be charged to the client;

7. Liaise with the execution team to ensure that the procured material meets the predetermined specifications;

8. Define and ensure the delivery of realistic project timelines, which ensure workforce efficiency and excellence in outcome

9. Develop guidelines for executing landscape risk management activities to help onsite teams to deliver high-quality landscape designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards;

10. Coordinate with the execution team to conduct regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget;

11. Write and present detailed reports on the going status of the project.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors in one of the following, or related fields:
1. Industrial Engineering 2. Metallurgy and Materials Engineering 3. Environmental Engineering 4. Architectural Engineering 5. Civil Engineering

2. Masters in Business Administration from HEC recognized universities, with GPA score of 3.0 or above

Required Experience:

1-2 years of relevant experience will be preferred
