The Business Development Consultant (BDC) is at the front-line of delivering world-class services to our base
of food partners and restaurant chains. Every BDC is responsible for preparing restaurants coming on board for
their feature on the Foodpanda website by driving all operational and set-up aspects of the feature process, as
well as making sure the restaurant has the opportunity to utilize all of Foodpanda’s products and tools. The
BDC serves as the primary, post-sale contact to restaurants. The goal of a BDC is to provide amazing service to
our food customers, assist them with their Foodpanda feature and foster strong, long-term relationships. This role interacts across multiple departments and functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Requirements:
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree
• Understanding of the pace and other characteristics of a sales environment
• Ridiculously detail-oriented
• Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
• MS Office and web proficiency
• Must have appealing personality and great presentation skills
Tech-savy with a flare for emerging digital media scene in Pakistan

• Serve as a consultant to restaurants as they seek to maximize the ROI of their Foodpanda account
• Schedule meetings and coordinate with internal departments and partners
• Coordinate with restaurants for the food order delivery, follow-ups and cash management process
• Increase the penetration of strategic products & services across Foodpanda’s restaurant base through crossselling and up-selling activities
• Drive loyalty & retention programs through exceptional service levels
• Liaise with different departments in driving cross-functional and cross-organizational changes
• Execute post-sale restaurant communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on restaurant-end
• Manage communication with restaurant owners/managers through each step of the relationship, from feature prep to day-of-feature and post-feature
• Ensure any client issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Traveling requirement: 50% (fuel allowance will be provided)
