Post Title: Country Manager Pakistan-Coventry University
Full-time position: Starting April/May 2016.
Job Description:
Purpose: To work as a member of Coventry University’s recruitment team as part of our International Department, based in Lahore Pakistan.
Primary focus is to support the management of the direct and agent sales channels in Pakistan to ensure that The University’s Corporate objectives in terms of recruitment to Coventry University, Coventry London Campus and Coventry College are achieved.
The post holder will be required to represent the University in Pakistan.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Regional Manager and the International Officer, your duties will include:
To support and where appropriate, plan and undertake recruitment missions, manage exhibitions, visit schools, colleges, universities and career conventions appropriate to student recruitment.
To support the Regional Manager and the International Officer with the development and maintenance of the agent network to assist with student recruitment.
To assist the academic staff within the University who are going abroad on recruitment missions to ensure they have as much detailed information as possible, and to ensure coverage at key recruitment events specified within the Marketing Plan.
To provide assistance and support to the Universities Admissions department.
To ensure that all promotional and publicity literature relating to student recruitment in Pakistan is as comprehensive and up to date as possible.
To develop and extend relationships with the Pakistan High Commission/Embassy and offices such as the British Council.
To ensure a comprehensive information database about the Pakistan market is available to the University.
AND such other duties as are within the scope of the job purpose.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Educated to Degree Level.
Excellent English Language and presentation skills.
Experienced in Sales with proven ability to hit targets.
( minimum 12 months in a pressurized sales/targeted environment )
Experienced in understanding and writing frequent reports.
Flexible in working hours including week-end work when required.
Able to travel extensively within Pakistan and work away from home.
