Firewall Deployment Engineer Job In Lahore

Position Overview:
To deploy, configure and maintain network sensors and manage logging infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design strategies by coordinating with the system administration to deploy network sensors.
• Install, integrate, and operate network sensors and data servers.
• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade sensors deployments.
• Manage network sensor infrastructure in terms of network performance, capacity planning and collection of longitudinal data.
• Replicate capabilities to new sites and projects for effective logging and secure transfers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues/queries.
• Assist in accessing logged data and network traces.
Travel:
• Might be required, depending on project objectives.
Required Experience:
• Working knowledge on network routing & switching systems e.g. switches, routers.
• Knowledge on network defense systems e.g. firewall, IDS, IPS.
• Working knowledge on computer operating systems e.g. Windows, Solaris, Linux.
• Experience with implementation of new technology and systems, installation and maintenance of sniffing/logging infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for purposes of both communicating with IT team members as well as to other staff members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or as a member of a team.
Preferred Experience:
• Minimum of two 2 years of direct, hands-on, production experience installing, configuring and supporting servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Networking certifications. This may include but is not limited to CCNA, CCNP, CCIE.
Qualification:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
