Job Duties:
(i) To assist Chief Engineer (Floods) in all technical matters preparation for annual meeting of FFC, seek technical input from relevant organizations for effective Flood Management and follow-ups.
(ii) Participation of annual Pre& Post Flood Conferences of Pak. Army and NDMA, preparation of minutes & follow up actions.
(iii) Technical scrutiny of Flood Protection Schemes submitted by Provincial Irrigation Departments/ Federal Line agencies.
(iv) Coordination in respect of FFWS Improvements at WAPDA & PMD and follow-up actions on Comprehensive Flood Protection Plan.

Qualification/Experience required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/ Institution. EXPERIENCE: Twelve (12) years post qualification experience in Planning, Design or construction or operation of Dams, Irrigation or Hydraulic Works in BS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government / Semi-Government / reputable private organization.
