JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of Program Manager as an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering goal, objectives and activities under the School-Based Deworming Program. The Regional Manager will be responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, managing the existing resources, communicating with donors/stakeholders whenever delegated by Program Manager as well as consolidating reports for submission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead development and facilitation of provincial school-based deworming programs in respective regions/province with relevant departments of the provincial/regional government with support from
National Program Managers NPMs.
Facilitate the provincial government and steering committee/ technical working group in the preparation of work-plans and budgets and participate in the meetings.
Assist the Technical Working Group representatives from key departments to identify key staff within ministries/ departments of the respective regions/ province to lead and manage the provincial school-based deworming program on a day-today basis. Note: capacity assessment and building will be needed.
Recruit, supervise and manage provincial and district teams for effective implementation of the school-based deworming program.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the development of training materials, community sensitization materials, reporting forms.
Coordinate with the education, health and other relevant departments data of Private/Public schools, deeni madaris, health care facilities and associated information and processes of teachers training cascade and health professionals to prepare for MDA.
Monitor and coordinate with the provincial governments in distribution of training, community sensitization materials, drugs and reporting forms to the training venues and subsequently to schools.
Coordinate with the health department focal person for the drug storage and its distribution to the training venues/schools and ensure the availability of required drug supply in support with the district coordinator.
Coordinate between ‘Third-Party Independent Monitoring Firm’ and the Government for monitoring and validation of data through reverse cascade, training activities.
Real time coordination and reporting to the
National Program Manager Implementation and on the program challenges and success.
Actively supervise the payment process to Lead/Master Trainers and Teachers with Finance and
Admin teams of IRD as per agreed mechanism.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES KSA
Required Qualification
Master’s Degree in Public Health, International Development, Public Administration, Social Sciences or other closely related fields from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience
Experience in projects or relevant position.
Knowledge of budgeting and reporting.
At least 3-year experiences in project management; experience working with international NGOs will be an added value.

Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
