1. Prepare journal entries, Cash-In & Cash-Out statement and report management on daily basis. Process payments made with cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards

2. Document the financial transactions by entering accounting information in V-MAKE accounting software. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions. Secure financial information by completing database backups. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.

3. Monthly closings of accounts and preparation of monthly financial statements, along management accounts. Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts. Draw up monthly financial reports. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.

4. Prepare analysis of accounts as requested. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.

5. Assist with year-end closings of Inventory.

6. Administer and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Report weakly about the Receivables and Payables. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise.

7. Provide information to Tax consultant timely for preparation of tax computations and returns.

8. Assist in preparing budgets and prepare inventory forecasts. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. Generate business, cost and employee reports to management.

9. Assist with payroll administration and computing per square foot incentives monthly for all employees.

10. Deposit Cheques and Issuing Cheques after management approval. Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences, account/bank reconciliations.

11. Keeping Expense and income voucher record daily and prepare expense and income reports.

12. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

13. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

14. Provide technical support and advice on financial management. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process. Provide input into department’s goal setting process.

15. Operate bar credit card scanning equipment. Handling external or internal communication or management systems. Managing clerical or other administrative staff. Organizing, arranging and coordinating meetings. Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post.

16. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. Develop and maintain a filing system. Update and maintain office policies and procedures. Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers. Maintain contact lists. Book travel arrangements.

17. Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
