Manager Operations - NOC/Traffic
Primary job responsibility
Manage and Support NOC environment at the data center and remote locations
Maintain and provision the voip network routes
Keep liaison with partner service providers and customers for traffic management
Troubleshoot, resolve, and remediate issues related to all VoIP applications and ancillary applications.
Work on incidents in ticketing systems, update users and business locations on process, and keep track of ongoing issues for permanent resolution
Candidate will eventually assist with design and strategic planning.
Manage NOC team for 24x7 smooth network operations
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5-7 years of experience in similar role
Experience related to the design, installation, and maintenance of carrier class voip networks
5-7 years related work experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience installing and maintaining softswitch and SIP/H323 Gateways..
Working knowledge of Networking: Switches, Routers, Servers, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, wireless Lan Controllers
Solid background with Asterisk, call center solutions, SIP/H323 based soft switches, NMS, CRM etc.
