JOB PURPOSE
Under the line management of Program Manager, the Project Associate will be responsible for looking after different components of the program. The incumbent will be required to provide administrative, operational and research support, liaison with field and data team as needed, and work closely with the management team to ensure timely completion of deliverables and submission of progress reports. He/she will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure quality and efficiency standards for the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Support the preparation of work plans
-Support the project institutional capacity building
-Administrative, financial and logistical support to the project staff
-Support communication and information management
-Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on the decisions with stakeholders
-Provide monitoring support to the program staff
-Assist in secondary and primary data collection related to the survey
-Provide data management and analysis support to the project staff if required
-Draft update reports, SOP’S, and any other documents required by the program team
-Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and are of high quality
-Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the program team
-Act as a liaison between Field Teams and Program Manager.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES KSA
Required Qualification
-Bachelor in Management Science/Social Science
Required Experience
-A minimum of one year of relevant research experience required.
Required Skills
-Should be fluent with MS Office, knowledge of MS -Project will be a plus
-Ability to lead and guide other staff
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to regulate own time and perform to -deadlines
-Ability to work independently with minimum oversight Passionate about completing a task to the highest quality
-Adaptable and flexible, willing to go out in the field
-Active team player with problem solving skills
