Online Best Furniture is online-only retailer of home furnishings and house wares in the United States, is seeking a talented and sales-driven Account Manager to join our growing sales team within our Trade and B2B teams. The Trade team services interior design, contractors, and property management customers and the B2B team manages the general business and institutional customers.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high comfort in consultative phone sales. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a desire to grow within our successful team. Compensation includes a base salary and an uncapped commission plan that rewards business growth.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop new business by engaging and enrolling prospective customers into the program via phone and email outreach
• Grow book of business by establishing and maintaining deep relationships with accounts through pre-generated leads
• Act as the key point of contact for all account purchase needs
• Provide top-tier sales and service support to all customers
• Meet/exceed sales goals
• Develop expertise in product offerings and stay up-to-date on industry knowledge
• Track all metrics and analyze performance data
• Design and oversee execution of multi-touch, multi-channel (web, email, phone, display, and eventually direct mail) marketing communication programs that attract new business leads and deliver positive ROI based on customer lifetime value
• Drive overall strategy and execution for B2B lead generation programs to drive material growth in the business
• Develop, manage, and rapidly grow catalog direct marketing business, a large but untapped marketing channel for our brands, including
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate business experience
• 4-5 years of successful sales experience in a commissioned environment (experience in online retail or e-commerce)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of success
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task, self-motivated with the ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure, client-service, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience managing products B2B and B2C
• Experience with Canada & USA commercial markets desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA preferred but not essential
