The incumbent will be responsible for smooth functioning of accounts department specifically focusing on 4 key functions: recording all financial transactions, processing payroll, performing audits, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports. Being responsible for processing payroll, the candidate is expected to be well versed with relevant tax calculations, employee loans and PF related policies and salary statements. Given below is the list of key day to day tasks of the role
• Recording and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are reconcilable
• Update accounts receivable, accounts payable, issue invoices and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Assist with month-end and payroll reporting and be the single point of contact for all payroll queries salary slips, Income Tax calculations, deductions, incentives, terminations and payments.
• Analyze financial information and reconciling budget and expenses within the organization and generate relevant reports.
To be successful, the candidate should have:
• Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Great attention to detail, good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
• A go-getter attitude with strong execution and interpersonal skills
