Job Duties:
(i) He Assist Deputy Commissioner and Joint Commissioner for Indus Waters in the implementation of the Indus Waters Treaty 1960 and other matters.
(ii) Responsible to prepare daily gauge and discharge data on monthly basis of the Indus System of Rivers for supply to India and likewise compile the data received from India on monthly basis.
(iii) Being the incharge of Flood Cell during the flood season (1st duly to 10th October) every year he is responsible for the smooth functioning of the Flood Cell. He to receives telephonic information regarding flood flows of the Indus System of Rivers from India and communicate it to user agencies, Flood Forecasting and Warning Centers, o/o Chief Engineering Adviser/ chairman Federal Flood Commission, Army, Rangers, PDMA etc.
(iv) Responsible to arrange collection of data and other publications etc. regarding the history of irrigation in the Indus Basin.

Qualification/Experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering, Registration with PEC required or recognized by HEC.
