Associate Manager, Communications

JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible to manage day to day affairs of the communications team – both corporate and technical with strategic and technical guidance from the Communications Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible to manage content team and the communications associate
-Responsible for working with the design team to develop technical and corporate communications materials
-Work with the communications manager to develop and execute innovative communication tools for different health programs
-Work with the communications associate to conduct qualitative research such as focus groups, patient interviews, surveys etc. to understand community/patient beliefs, attitudes and behavior and test concepts and materials
-Responsible to work with communications associate to manage and create social media content, website and other corporate communication needs
-Responsible to work with the communications manager to organize and manage events for programs
-Responsible to manage external vendor relationships for instance with film-makers, animation houses and illustrators
-Responsible to work with Communications Manager and technical program managers to build pitch decks and materials to help bring in grants
Required Skills
-Ability to clearly communicate in English and Urdu – both oral and written
-Additional regional or global languages is greatly preferred
-Proficient in MS Office – especially MS Powerpoint
-Strong Organizational skills
-Familiarity with Illustrator, InDesign, social media content management systems or Photoshop is greatly preferred
