Job Duties:
i) To test the samples of various commodities relating to import or Export consignments or any other sample referred by any department/Collectorate to Customs House Laboratory.
ii) To follow the instructions of supervising officer relating to testing and framing of test report in the light of Harmonized System of Commodity Description through Standard reference Methods recognized internationally.
iii) To assist the Authorities in discharging the official tasks in technical matters and related work entrusted. Submission of the proposal for routine requirements necessary for smooth discharge of testing work, and other duties assigned by Custom Authorities.
iv) To answer the queries in Technical matters under the guidance of Supervisor/Incharge lab as asked by customs authorities and other trade bodies.

Both male and female candidates are eligible
Any relaxation in Maximum age limits
plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit.

Qualification/Experience required:
Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University. EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years post qualification experience in analytical work and operation of equipments based on Chromatography Spectre-photometry, Spectroscopy, and electron microscopy.
