Job Overview:
MAKY Educational Immigration Services is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketing Officer to lead the development, implementation, and management of our social media strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for boosting brand visibility, engaging with prospective clients, and promoting our educational and immigration consultancy services. You will work closely with the marketing team to create content, manage campaigns, and track performance across all social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Content Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
Create engaging, creative, and high-quality content text, image, and video for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
Plan and manage the social media calendar, including content scheduling and campaign planning.
Campaign Management & Advertising:
Run paid social media campaigns Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc. to generate leads and drive conversions.
Monitor and optimize ad performance to achieve key performance indicators KPIs.
Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce eye-catching and effective promotional materials.
Community Management & Engagement:
Build and nurture an active online community by responding to comments, messages, and queries in a timely manner.
Engage with followers, potential clients, and influencers to foster brand advocacy and awareness.
Manage online reviews and customer feedback on social media platforms.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics reach, engagement, leads, etc..
Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing social media strategies based on data and trends.
Stay up-to-date with social media algorithm changes, trends, and best practices.
Brand Awareness & Market Research:
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to ensure the brand stays competitive.
Conduct market research to identify target audience preferences and adapt strategies accordingly.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience 2-3 years in social media marketing, preferably within the education or consultancy sector.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Proficiency in social media management tools e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer and analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights.
Strong creative skills with the ability to create compelling visual and written content.
Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Graphic design and video editing skills e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with SEO and email marketing.
Familiarity with educational or immigration services is a plus.
