Job Duties:
i) Identification of investment opportunities in different sectors and their promotion in Pakistan and abroad.
ii) Inter-Ministerial, inter-agency and inter-provincial coordination with regard to policies and their implementation having impact on investment.
iii) Investor’s facilitation.
iv) Providing guidance to foreign and local investors, as well as foreign executives and technical personnel working in Pakistan.
v) Evaluation and Processing of Investment proposals and projects.
vi) Policy Formulation for improving business climate & ease of doing business in the country.
vii) Private Sector Projects/Programmes of different Ministries.

Qualification/Experience required:
Second Class or Grade‘C’ Master’s Degree or equivalent in one of the following subject:- Economics/ Commerce/Business Administration/ Public Administration/ Physics/ Chemistry/ International Relations/ Chemicals/ Electronics/Mechanical Engineering. Seventeen (17) years post qualification experience in BS-17 and above or equivalent in Industrial Production/Financial and economic analysis of investment proposals/Marketing, Management Development/ Economic Policy and Planning/Industrial Policy Investment Promotion in Commercial/ Industrial Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Private firms of repute.
