The Healthcare Officer will be involved in the day to day liaison with the community and collecting data from the community and patients.
Conduct field visits on a day-to-day basis
Once trained, utilize community engagement approaches SALT – Support, Appreciate, Listen and Transfer to develop and maintain strong relationships with communities in their designated areas
Reach out to focal people/community leaders and identify Community Facilitators
Conduct regular meetings with the community
Attend regular refresher sessions as part of Community Engagement Center CEC
Establish referrals for different public health problems, including mental health
Document all community engagement work in the shared tools and reporting formats
Provide counseling and support to patients diagnosed with TB
Supporting other staff members of the team when required
Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines regarding all clients, conversations and referrals
Calling up the patients for Follow-up
Any other task assigned by Line Manager
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES KSA
Matriculation with added work experience
Experience of working in the field as a health officer
Experience with MS Office
Able to effectively read and write in English or at least in Roman Urdu
Fluency in regional language
Good communication skills
Experience of field work
