Throughout my undergraduate years, I have spent a lot of time in the machine shop of my university for both the courses and society projects. These projects not only helped me with shop fabrication methods like machining, cutting, forming etc. but also helped me grow as an individual. Exceptional grades in machine shop courses gave me self-confidence regarding mechanical aptitude whereas the society projects were self-motivated and really gave me an edge over other peers. It was the result of my extra knowledge in practical engineering that I was appointed one of the lab assistants for the machine shop. I am sure that the machine shop experience prove significant as it coincides with the responsibilities mentioned in the job advertisement. My experience of working on machinery is not limited to the machine shop of my university. I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience in summer 2017, working as a manufacturing intern at RIMTAJ Industries where they manufactured parts of tractors from raw metal sheets. During the same internship I used the CNC machine for the very first time. Internship at RIMTAJ was not all about machinery because it also improved my technical abilities when I worked on 3D modeling of the manufactured parts. I believe that this internship evolved me as a professional engineer. Considering my qualifications and experiences I believe I am the ideal person for this job.
