If successful you will be required to :
- maintain and control the station plant from the Central Control Room (CCR).
- supervise the implementation of safety rules and procedures to provide personal safety from the system.
- perform a plant engineering function and provide immediate operational advice to the CCR staff and Operate Technicians during normal operations, fault investigations and recovery.

- carry out project work on a day shift working pattern when requested. Reactor Desk Engineers will follow the relevant training programme.

- direct and co-ordinate shift operation and maintenance of the Fuel route. required to carry out technical investigations, rectification and supervise minor maintenance on fuel route systems.
- work flexibly to ensure maximum contribution towards achieving business need.

Following a training period, formal authorization will be required before Assistant Engineer Operations status is achieved
