Job Duties:
i. To advise Federal and Provincial governments on policy matters relating to Plant Protection.
ii. To advise private sector (firms and individuals) interested in the import and manufacture of Plant Protection material and equipment.
iii. To supervise and coordinate the work of Locust, Plant Quarantine and Registration of Pesticides as per International obligation.
iv. To represent Government in national and international conferences/ meetings on Plant Protection.

Any relaxation in Maximum age limits
plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit.

Qualification/Experience required:
Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s degree in Agricultural Science with specialization in Entomology or M.Sc. in Entomology. RESEARCH: Evidence of original research, extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, with publication in any foreign journal of repute.
