Job Duties:
i) Implementation of WHO International Health Regulations and National Health regulations (Port Health Rules 1974) for Prevention of spread of diseases of international concern.
ii) Issuance of Derating/ Exemption certificate to ships.
iii) Issuance of “Health Clearance Certificate” to imported consignments of second hand clothing after necessary formalities.
iv) To provide free radio-medical advices in case of medical emergency to ships while at sea.

Qualification/Experience required:

OR Postgraduate lower diploma in Public Health with five (5) years post qualification experience. (iii) Registration with PMDC required
