i) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC with post graduate qualifications viz. MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC;

Teaching experience will be preferred and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal.

ii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available then;
(a) BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC with postgraduate minor diploma qualifications in the relevant subject as recognized by the PMDC; and
(b) 3 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized institution after post graduate qualification.
Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal.
iii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available then;
(a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by the PMDC; and
(b) 10 years teaching experience as Demonstrator in the relevant subject provided that atleast 3 research papers published in a standard dental/medical journal.
