(CASE NO. 10 - RH / 2015) RECRUITMENT TO (05) FIVE POSTS (INCLUDING ONE POST RESERVED FOR MINORITIES) OF INFORMATION OFFICER (BS-17) ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF 03 YEARS IN THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL PUBLIC RELATION, PUNJAB, INFORMATION & CULTURE DEPARTMENT.
1. QUALIFICATION:
Master’s degree (2nd Class) in Journalism or Mass Communication or Political Science or History or Urdu Literature or English Literature from a recognized University.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years experience in Journalism or Mass Communication including work in the National Newspaper / Periodical of repute or Regional Newspaper having ABC Certification or a recognized News Agency / Television Network, Radio Broadcasting Organization or Publicity in a Government Office.
2. AGE:
Male Candidates: 21 to 35 + 5 Years General Age Relaxation in Upper Age Limit vide Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated
04-11-2006 = 40 Years on 25-06-2015.
Female Candidates: 21 to 35 + 8 Years General Age Relaxation in Upper Age Limit vide Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated
21-05-2012 = 43 Years on 25-06-2015.
3. PAY: BS-17
4. DOMICILE: Candidates domiciled in any District of the Province of
Punjab issued on or before closing date.
5. GENDER: Male, Female & Shemale.
6. PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in Punjab.
7. SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN TEST:
One Paper MCQ Type Written Test of 100 Marks with the following syllabus will be conducted:-
Current Affairs, Pakistan Affairs, Islamic Affairs, International Relations, Basic Concept of Political Science and knowledge of Journalism / Mass Communication.
