H&M Pakistan Production office is currently seeking individuals with strong background and experience in the area of Production Merchandising in Woven Textile!



Accountability



The Production Merchandiser is accountable to:

•Support Senior Merchandisers in ensuring that the Merchandisers’ main responsibilities, methods and routines are followed and executed in an optimized way


•Support colleagues in understanding, planning and creating a good dialogue between all Order Follow Up colleagues, suppliers and the Buying Office


•Mentor/train new Merchandiser Assistants




Main Responsibilities



Product developments and quotations

•Take full responsibility from the time an order is received from the quotation team to the order having been shipped


•Analyze the order upon receipt together with the Senior Merchandiser. Check if all details are correct


•Follow up the order by using the Order Follow-up System and use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status


•Follow up on all relevant samples and ensure that samples are ordered through the Order Follow-up System


•Ensure that Time of Delivery is on time


•Work actively with the samples together with technicians


•Work actively with risk assessment of fabric and sample quality tests and communicate with suppliers


•Problem solving and sharing




Education and Experience requirements

•Graduate caliber, preferably with a garment-related degree or diploma


•Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in a relevant role


•Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred




Knowledge and Skill requirements

•Relevant product knowledge


•General knowledge of export trade and documentation requirements


•Excellent written and spoken English


•Advanced knowledge of Excel


•Strong attention to detail


•Strong communication and organizational skills
