JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION CODE:HRD-PC/TD-075

DEPARTMENT / PROGRAM:School-Based Deworming Program

REPORTING TO:Program Manager

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:Contractual

LOCATION:Karachi, Pakistan.

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will be responsible for looking after different components of the program. S/he will be required to provide administrative and research support, liaison with field offices as needed. Work closely with the program team to ensure timely completion of deliverables and submission of progress reports to the donor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the preparation of work plans

Support the project institutional capacity building

Administrative, financial and logistical support to the project staff

Support communication and information management
Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on the decisions with stakeholders

Provide monitoring support to the program staff

Support development of data collection tools

Assist in secondary and primary data collection related to the core indicators of the program

Provide data management and analysis service to the project staff

Conduct and collate program data

Draft policy briefs, reports and any other documents required by the program team

Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and are of high quality

Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the program team

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES KSA

Required Qualification

Bachelor in Social Sciences and/or Management Science

Required Experience

1 - 2 years of relevant experience

Required Skills

Active team player with problem solving skills

Adaptable and flexible, willing to travel to remote field areas with basic living conditions

Ability to regulate own time and perform to deadlines

Excellent communication skills

Ability to lead and guide other staff

Ability to work independently with minimum oversight

Passionate about social impact

Proficiency in STATA and SPSS preferred
