Public Health Engineering Department

Public Health Engineering Department was establkished with the mission to start their effort to increase the quality of life of the people living in different areas of country. This department provides the pollution free environment by starting the sewerage or drainage schemes and they also need to construct the sewage treatment plants so that they can meet with the Millennium development goals.
PHED department is responsible to provide drinking water in the rural areas and during the flood, their duty is increased manifold. This department is responsible to take steps for provision of water at the district level. With the inception of new district government system, the powers are now delegated to the district government and now the nazims of the district government take up the charge of provision of water to their areas located in the district and tehsils areas.
