Quality Control Engineer

Inspect raw materials, in-process fabrication, welding, and final products according to project specifications and quality standards.
Review and interpret technical drawings, welding procedure specifications WPS, and inspection & test plans ITP.
Conduct Non-Destructive Testing NDT or coordinate with third-party inspectors as required.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, weld maps, and material traceability.
Monitor welder performance, ensure WPS compliance, and verify weld quality.
Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring and inspection tools/equipment.
Liaise with internal teams, clients, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
Support root cause analysis RCA and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA.
Assist in maintaining ISO/ASME/PSQCA or other regulatory compliance and certifications.
Promote a quality-first culture and support continuous improvement initiatives in the shop.
