Key Responsibilities
• Participates in analysis and design of user interfaces and provides solutions and alternatives
• Collaborates with business, development, and quality assurance team members to implement best-in-class solutions
• Writes readable and maintainable solutions using best practices and conventions
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation
• Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support
• Carefully aggregates, reviews, tweaks and improves the code before it’s committed to version control management system
• Provides deep software development knowledge with respect to front end architecture, UX/UI design, and programming
• Keeps up with the new trends and best practices as they evolve in the industry
• Creates and maintains internal technical documentation
• Plans and leads the work of multiple developers and reviews their code
Position’s Requirements
• 5+ years of development experience in Angular Framework
• Expert level understanding of web markup HTML5, CSS3 and client-side scripting JavaScript, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
• Knows when and when not to use front-end software design patterns e.g., asynchronicity, data binding, modules, MVC, objects, promises
• Agile software development experience
• Experience with continuous integration tools e.g., Jenkins
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
• Ability to mentor and teach skill sets to other developers
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Critical thinker and good problem-solver
