VinAudit Inc. is seeking a talented software professional to help us figure out how to turn large amounts of data into large amounts of money! You would join a small team of 25 individuals working remotely and globally – including in the Philippines, Pakistan, the United States, and Canada. We happen to specialize in vehicle data. And since 2011, we have aggregated billions of vehicle-related records, helped millions of consumers evaluate a car purchase, and served thousands of automotive businesses with access to our unique datasets. We believe were just getting started, and wed love to explore how you could help.
Location: Pakistan
Core Hours: Mon - Friday from 9:30am - 5:30pm Seattle Time
Base Salary: 400,000 PKR per month paid monthly

Required experience:
Must have experience designing object-oriented software at scale
Must have experience working effectively with a team of developers to launch products
Must have experience using traditional web technologies
Bonus experience:
Experience developing scrapers for extracting web data
Experience processing millions of records of data
Experience administering Linux/CentOS servers
Software Stack:
Operating System: CentOS 7
Languages: Python, PHP
Databases: MySQL, SQLite
Technologies: Apache Spark, Apache Cassandara
This role involves:
Documenting technical requirements for each development project we undertake.
Exploring technologies, storage schemas, and solutions to meet project requirements.
Architecting classes with careful organization for scalability and maintainability.
Shipping products with high quality, clean design, and fast implementation!
