WHAT YOULL DO
Work closely with our founders and engineering team to align product vision and prioritize feature development.
Develop a deep understanding and empathy for our target personas and the problems we’re solving for them.
Translate product requirements and user stories into elegant end-to-end experiences that delight our users.
Champion an iterative approach that begins with journey mapping, sketches and rough wireframes and ends with high-fidelity, interactive prototypes, while incorporating user feedback all along the way.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a proven track record developing innovative designs that are beautiful, delightful and easy-to-use.
You have experience at a fast-growing startup and/or a marketplace, professional network or enterprise SaaS business.
Youre an excellent communicator and can justify design-decisions based on qualitative insights or data
You appreciate feedback while not being shy to share your own.
You are resourceful, organized and deadline-driven with a bias towards action.
You are adept at using design and behavioral psychology to nudge users down a desired path
You’re capable of working independently but also like collaborating with Visual Designers, Copywriters, Strategists, and Engineers to bring brands to life across all touchpoints and devices.
You’re proficient in Figma, research, and prototyping design tools and have a solid understanding of UX and design principles.
You’re a curious thinker who loves digging deep into a client problem- and love experimenting with different solutions. You enjoy the details and approach every work challenge with a good attitude.
You like to take everyone along for the ride with you. You’ll build and maintain documentation libraries around conversion and optimization best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design beautiful, delightful, intuitive software to help applicants navigate complex enrollment processes. Focus on accessibility, and best-in-class solutions.
Create intuitive, highly functional interfaces for administrators. Expose highly complex matching concepts via a simple interface.
Collaborate with the team and our clients to identify the right solutions and products to build.
QUALIFICATION:
------------------
5+ years as a designer working on web applications SAAS, ideally B2B
Experience going from napkin sketch to shipped product 0 -> 1
Comfort working solo and/or in a startup environment
Extensive portfolio of designed and shipped products
Design thinking and human centered design expertise
Expertise in mapping user experiences in tools such as FlowMapp
Expertise in product mockup, wireframing, and rapid prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Balsamiq, Invision, Axure, Marvel, XD or Figma.
Expertise in designing pixel-perfect mockups in Adobe, Sketch, etc.
