Fareha Shahid
My name is Fareha Shahid, and I am currently based in Islamabad. I have recently completed the final semester of my BS in Accounting and Finance on 25th June 2025. Prior to this, I completed my schooling and higher secondary education in Pre-Engineering from APS Rawalpindi. To gain practical experience and fulfill the requirements of my degree, I undertook two professional roles. The first was a stipend-based internship at the Admission Office of Bahria University, Islamabad. In this role, I assisted applicants throughout the admissions process, conducted data verification and document scrutiny, managed high volumes of emails and phone calls, confirmed fees, maintained applicant records, and supported tasks related to quota allocations, scholarship eligibility, and program changes. My second experience was a two-month remote role with HPC High Performance Computing, where I was responsible for coordinating cab bookings through communication with drivers and clients. I addressed service-related issues, gathered customer feedback to improve transportation services, and created as well as edited virtual course content for EPIBM using PowerPoint and Articulate Storyline. I also took part in interviewing teacher candidates and supported student recruitment for EPIBM’s educational programs. These experiences significantly strengthened my communication, organizational, and technical skills. As a member of the University Arts and Dramatics Club, I participated in a stall event where I presented and sold my handmade crochet products. This experience enhanced my interpersonal and selling skills while allowing me to explore my creativity in a practical setting. With a strong foundation in finance, hands-on administrative experience, and a creative mindset, I am eager to apply my skills in a dynamic work environment and contribute meaningfully to any organization I become part of.
