I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Fisheries Management And Aquaculture Fresh Water Biology Department at University of Sindh and would like to continue refining the technical skills and fisheries techniques that I have developed in my prior experiences and in my degree. I would like to be able to participate in the exemplary research performed at the UOS while collaborating with an array of highly skilled scientists,professors and I believe my unique experiences and skillset would make me an excellent addition to your team. Throughout my career, I have always thrived in positions that incorporated independent work with the collaborative research process. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree at University of Sindh, I was selected for several internships with the Chilya Thatta Hatcheryin under Government of Sindh Pakistan as a Water Quality Intern and Fisheries Intern, respectively. In both positions, I rose to take on leadership roles, often instructing others in the safe practice of gillnetting, boat operation, fish biopsy and dissection, water quality data collection, data entry, and qPCR sample processing. At ing Bear Dunes, I was solely responsible for the prompt collection, transportation, and processing of time-sensitive samples of water samples to test for E-coli contamination of the public beaches within the park. My subsequent work as a Fisheries Technician in Fisheries Training Center Chilya Thatta Sindh. engrained the skills developed in these experiences. From my coursework and other professional experiences, I have developed the technical experience, meticulous attention to detail and time management necessary to be an exemplary Fisheries Technician. While I feel that I am uniquely qualified for this position, I have a lot to learn from the wonderful staff and professors of University of Sindh.
