I am writing to apply for a Position with ‘Architect'. I believe that This Architecture firm provides a multi-discipline challenge I am seeking in an environment in which to take the next step in my career. I am a motivated, enthusiastic, adaptable and responsible person, who is looking currently looking to start a career in the Architecture and Construction industry While studying at the university, the institute has provided the opportunity for me to work on real life projects. I have liaised myself with other architects to design, develop and produce presentations for architectural submissions. I also had the opportunity to out the time to learn other BIM tools (Revit, Archicad). During this experience, I was able to demonstrate and learn different skills using different applications to fit the purpose. By gaining a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at National College of Arts, I have moved to polish my skills and learnt current challenges in the field of Architecture by taking admission to further my studies in Masters of Technical Architecture at Sheffield Hallam University. The course has taught me the fundamental changes occurring across the construction industry, and efficient multidisciplinary collaboration in the design and construction process with the support of advanced BIM technologies and giving me a further insight into understanding Building Information Modelling which enhanced my interest and acquiring the information and skills that is needed to be delivered into practice. The masters have allowed me to be more motivated, passionate and have the desire for innovative design solutions. Throughout my studies, I have developed skills for research, design strategy and a high capacity for aesthetic resolution. As a result of my recent studies, I am a confident user of Revit, AutoCAD and Google 3D SketchUp. In addition, I have had a broad range of experience through work experience at Zoom Petroleum as an Architect. During my time at Zoom Petroleum, I was able to play a vital part by Designing the sites according to the requirements, preparing drawings and collaborate construction works with the contractors and manufacturers. At Zoom, I had the role as a Technologist where my main focus was to develop detail and construction drawings with complete specifications with the help of different design softwares such as Auto Cad, 3D Sketchup, Photo Shop, and Microsoft Word. I believe that ‘Architecture firm’ will give me an excellent foundation and to develop my skills and knowledge to a higher level for progression. I have enclosed my Curriculum Vitae.
