Ahmad Bilal Aslam
I graduated from the Business School at LUMS in 2013, along with earning a Computer Science minor. Gifted with strong quantitative and analytical abilities, and having a background in both management science and computer science, my interests lie in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. Currently, I am working as a Business Analyst at INTECH Process Automation, an international control systems integration company in the Oil and Gas sector. During my time here, I have played the key role in establishing the business analytics function from scratch, and initiating and executing a number of reporting mechanisms, which have led the company towards a more data-driven decision making approach. Along with that, I have earned reputation as the go-to person for all the market research and market analysis needs of top management, and am known to the CEO as 'The Numbers Guy'. In the last couple of years, I have led research projects for INTECH with some of the world renowned firms in Consulting and Business Intelligence. Besides, I have recently co-founded a tech startup in healthcare, which aims to digitize and integrate the entire healthcare value chain in the country, i.e. doctors, pharmaceutics, and laboratories, through an online platform. I am overseeing everything related to data management for this venture. In my free time, I regularly take different online courses on Coursera/edX to enhance my analytical skills. Plus I am a passionate cricket follower.
