•Need Context Project Planning and designing In-depth knowledge and understanding of the National nutrition policy guideline that articulates how the nutritional needs of our people will be met and how the issues of hunger, malnutrition, food safety, food fortification , sustainable agriculture practices and nutrition research will be addressed . Advising the organization’s management on public health and food assistance program, nutrition information and education programs and food fortification, so they could establish their priorities and collaboration in the nutrition specific and nutrition sensitive projects. • Policy articulation and adaptation A good understanding and in-depth knowledge of nutrition policy making and policy evaluation that includes problem definition and agenda setting, formulation of alternatives, policy adaptation a policy implementation , legislative and regulatory process and legitimizing policy Capability to lead the organization working in partnership with UNICEF and WFP to improve food security and nutrition among communities affected by law and order operations and the effects of recurring climatic events; build resilience among communities in the most hazard-prone parts of the country; address malnutrition; and support an enabling environment for women to increase their social and economic equality. • Financial Management: Possessing practical working experience of overall financial management, activity based budgeting, planning and accurate and effective control on financial matters. Sound practical knowledge of developing budgets for different donors. • Liaising and Networking: Possessing practical working experience of networking, coordination and liaising with different governmental, local and international NGOs, UN agencies, donor organizations and other stakeholders and development actors. •Monitoring and Evaluation: also possess the skills of monitoring and evaluating development/relief projects both quantitative and qualitative methods. • Able to manage; multiple priorities and projects while working as a part of team.
