I am married and a father of two children. I hold a master degree in General Surgery, from Uganda Martyrs University, Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from Makerere University, and Diploma in Clinical medicine from Malamulo College of Health Sciences- Malawi. Ordinary Diploma in Ultrasonography from Thomas Jefferson Ultrasound Radiology and Education Institute and I did trainings in Designing for behavior change and managing Donor Relations by ADRA International. All these have shaped my conceptual, analytical and communication skills related to my professional work and management that involve human resource in achieving a desired objective in required time. My work in Queens Health Services involve extensive day to day clinical work, human resource training & management, procurement & logistics, conducting Continuous Medical Education CME sessions for the staff, designing work protocols for the unit, and do regular clinical audits & administrative duties. In ADRA –South Sudan I was the Project Manager for the Danida funded Health & Water and Sanitation project. The project was in Twic County- South Sudan with a target population of 80,000. My work involved; Human resource recruitment, training and management, procurement and logistics, Clinical activities, support supervision in the health units, monitoring & evaluation and administrative duties. All with the aim of achieving the project goal of reducing vulnerability to health related issue for improved reintegration of returnees & internally displaced persons IDPs. Through improved health care services & Water and sanitation delivery & capacity building of the local population to address basic health issues. In St. Francis Hospital Nsambya, I was the Medical Officer In charge of the Female medical word. My responsibilities included; seeing to the day to day clinical work on the ward, train and mentor intern doctors, conduct Continuous Medical Education CME for the staff, design work protocols for the department, do clinical audit and execute other assignment as given by the Medical Director.
