Hamid Raza
I am Hamid Raza Banguash Master of Special Education from University of Karachi and currently obtained Diploma in Disaster Risk Management from Preston University resident of district Hangu. I had been working with Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) as Project Officer at Dera Ismail khan, where had established Grievance Desk at WFP humanitarian food hub. Provided information to conflict affected IDPs and resolved their food blockage cases and counsel them regarding the CNIC issues particularly family tree cases or double CNIC. Informed disables about Special Person CNIC. Delivered Disaster Risk Reduction sessions to host community and IDPs. Contacted social benefits provider departments. Surveyed flood affected area and assessment of Shelter beneficiaries. I worked with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as “Communication & Field Officer”/ FATA-Center Office/Hangu was liaison & maintained media network, established database of and interacted with beneficiaries, stakeholders, interlocutors, authorities and security forces and with INGO, issued ICRC’s press communiqué and translate documents from Urdu/Pashto in English vice versa and assisted Economic Security department in food distribution at hubs. I disseminated widely ICRC’s profile at different stages and level with different audiences. I have conducted session about Weapon Contamination sessions to different targeted groups and achieved some of extra ordinary performances. I deal with Red Cross Messages and Tracing Request and other protection related issues. I remained with Handicap International (HI) being Community Rehabilitation Worker at Kohat & Hangu, surveyed, assessment and assisted host community, IDPs and Refugee and provided them assistive devices according to their per need. Engaged in Child Inclusive Friendly Space and organized Mine Risk Reduction session at IDPs camp and in host community. Maintained contact with social benefits providers. I am registered volunteer of PRCS. Mine divers working experience, personal interaction enables me to perform different job in stressing environment.
