GENERAL MEDICINE · worked in OPD, emergency department, ICU and medical ward. · also acquired the skill to manage dengue fever by working in dengue OPD, dengue ward and dengue ICU. · mastered myself in medical examination techniques, iv cannulation, performing ECG and maintaining iv line. · did three on call duties in a week. ANESTHESIA · worked in pre anaesthesia unit where i used to give anaesthesia fitness, perform iv cannulation, maintain iv lines and give preanesthetic medications before procedures. · mastered the skill of endotracheal intubation, spinal anaesthesia and epidural and general anaesthesia under observation. · worked in post operative recovery unit and post operative anaesthesia unit for post op management of patients. · did three on call duties in a week. GENERAL SURGERY · worked in general surgery OPD, pre and post operative wards, ICU, emergency department and burn unit. · due to shortage of house officers, I also got opportunity to work in orthopaedic, neurosurgery and plastic surgery OPDs and wards respectively. · did three on call duties in a week.
