Dear Sir/Madam, I have a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from King Edward Medical University (KEMU). I have been trained in physical therapy practice and teaching skills. As for my experience, I have been practicing physiotherapy for over 17 years. The key areas of my expertise are ‘capacity building’ and ‘treatment management’ with special focus on ergonomics, physical fitness, musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunctions. I have been engaged in advisory and training roles, regularly delivering lectures to the physiotherapy students from FMH, on neurological, metabolic and developmental disorders in children. Also, I have been providing guidance, on physical dysfunctions in children, to university students and research fellows from other disciplines. I have been developing and implementing the treatment plans for the rehabilitation of the mentally disadvantaged peoples, especially children. For the purpose, I also trained field psychologists, community workers, community resource persons, parents & siblings and other stakeholders. I have excellent skills in oral and verbal communication. I have been liaising and coordinating with other health professionals such as clinical psychologist, and speech pathologist. I have been writing descriptive and analytical progress reports for different donors. Also, I have worked as external examiner with the Punjab University and the KEMU.
