Lala Rukh
After graduating master’s degree in Political Science, I started my career in the nonprofit sector with Strengthening Participatory Organization; a national NGO’s as Local Resource Person and worked on the AWAZ Project implemented in 45 districts of Pakistan. After competing for the Program Officer Position, I was recruited to perform a senior-level role in the implementation of the project, SPO was awarded. This included women’s safe political participation, conflict pre-emption and service delivery. My role besides direct implementation of project activities included management of grants implemented by local Community-Based Organizations and Community Groups. The role necessitated the capacity building of communities as well as implementing partner organizations. More recently, I have been working as freelancer on different monitoring and end-line research project in education, WATSAN, and gender and training projects for different audiences i.e. community members at the village, UC and district level, women leaders and councillor, minority youth/transgender and project monitors etc. Over the past few years, I have been engaged in assignments that required extensive travelling to the most difficult areas and am well versed with the sensitivities of local culture in Pashto speaking regions. In view of the above-mentioned experiences, I hope you will give due consideration to my candidacy for the available position.
