I, Lieutenant Colonel Retd Muhammad Farooq Shah, Tamgha-I-Imtiaz Military, have rich experience of Administration, Logistics, Security, Supply Chain Management procurement and Coordination at higher level acquired through 34 years of experience in the military, corporate sector and international engagement. I am capable of managing affairs in its wider context including sensitive security matters, complex procurement and risk management in highly disciplined and objective manner. Besides acquiring military qualifications, I did Masters in International Relations and also am an alumnus of Academy of International Business Officials AIBO MOFCOM - Beijing China on Chinese aided projects. I have served as Logistics Officer - United Nation Mission in Liberia UNMIL for one year. I had administered / managed an outfit having more than 1000 personnel’s in troubled / challenging environment of Balochistan, for two years. Other than military assignments at national / international level, I have also served in dynamic civil organization i.e. Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority- Pakistan, under the umbrella of Prime Minister’s Office Public from 1st October 2013 to 30th September 2016, as Director Coordination and Special Project Cell. I have gained sufficient experience in dealing with national / international donor communities, like Islamic Development Bank and Saudi Funds for Development, governments and Non-Governmental Organization NGOs involved in reconstruction and rehabilitation of earthquake affected areas of Pakistan. My last assignment was Defence Housing Authority Islamabad as Director Supply Chain Management Procurement in which, I attained all set goals by DHAI-R including restructuring / transforming of Procurement Branch to Supply Chain Management Directorate with the aim to make it more efficient and transparent by enhancing scope of work and management of staff on modern lines. Moreover, I contributed in revision of SOPs of Supply Chain management directorate making it more comprehensive covering not only procurement procedures but also maintenance of records, inventory management, bar coding and disposal of obsolete equipment / stores. Being self-motivated I, had been relentlessly working to pursue the assigned goals with utmost sincerity at different portfolios.
