Muhammad Ishaque Sheikh
I am biostatistician and have expertise and experience in research and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). I have done my (MSc) in Applied Statistics in 2011 from University of Karachi, Pakistan. My professional experience mainly involves designing, implementing and supervising quantitative research surveys/studies including need assessments, sample size calculation, baselines, midline special studies and end of project evaluations; expertise in data management, providing data collection/management training to the field staff; development of data entry software; developing research/M&E data collection tools; developing M&E framework; quantitative data collection/advance statistical analysis and interpretation of statistical data; assist in report writing and manuscript development, knowledge management and dissemination of research results/findings. I have started my professional career with Aga Khan University, Hospital Karachi in May 2006 as data entry operator and in November 2010 I joined Marie Stopes Society, Pakistan as Data Management Officer. Presently, I am working as Manager RM&E with MSS Pakistan where I am responsible for development of M&E framework, carryout advance statistical data analysis, produce high level excel dashboards, measuring business performance, progress monitoring and performance monitoring, impact estimation of the research project, plan and execution of monitoring/evaluation surveys and execution of various research surveys, developing presentation based on findings and present at various national/international forums.
