Muhammad Sarfraz Arshad
I am member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) having ample experience of 13 years in the area of finance & banking, accounts, budgeting, tax, treasury, insurance, financial modeling and ERP. I started my career with Sitara Hamza (Pvt) Ltd. (subsidiary of Sitara Textile Industries Limited), a project of 300 houses in Faisalabad where i prepared costing of a house, handled various financing facilities, audit of financial record and preparation of financial statements. Then i joined Associated Group and worked for JJVL (LPG production company), Lub and Mehran (LPG marketing companies), PPR and WPIL (Power sector companies) and PGPL (LNG Company) where I handled power sector accounting, finance and budgeting activities during EPC stage and O & M of two projects of values US$ 100 Million and US$ 82 Million and work on EPC and O&M contracts and final reconciliation of accounts with them. I am quite capable to handle all procurement matters under PPRA Rules and payment to local as well as foreign vendors. Presently i am engaged with Lahore Division Cattle Market Management Company (LDCMMC) as Chief Financial Officer/ Company Secretary. LDCMMC incorporated u/s 42 of Companies Ordinance limited by guarantee having no share capital. I did diploma in IFRS/ IAS. I am quite capable to work independently and discharge my responsibilities under the compliance of law and organization code of business with a view to achieve overall operational and strategic goals of the organization. I have been awarded twice by previous employers and one time by current management in recognition of my services.
