I have completed my MS in Computer Science with specialization in Cyber Security form COMSATS University, Pakistan. My Research topic was on investigation of Malware Classification using Reinforcement Learning techniques. It was an exciting project in which research was carried out to frame the malware classification challenge as a sequential decision-making problem. Cyber Security is the backbone of future secure internet communication especially when IoTs devices are emerging rapidly. Looking into the future developments and challenges faced by making internet communication secure in favor of common people, I feel more enthusiastic to pursue a career in this challenging field. I have the desired skill-set required to embark on the field for higher studies and therefore, I have chosen your prestigious institute for my PhD studies. The pioneering works going on at the cyber Security division, which include the development of network security and high end communication, perfectly match with the field of my interest. The interdisciplinary nature of this field makes it more exciting that has further convinced me in taking it as my ultimate research career. With the current skill-set and knowing state of the art, I am confident to get along with the group research activities and contribute positively to the ongoing research projects. By working under the guidance of distinguished faculty and researchers, I shall certainly be able to exploit my potential to the fullest. Looking into the leading and prominent research profiles on department website has further strengthened my resolve to study at this prestigious institute.
