Covering Letter of Lt Col Qazi Asif Ullah Retd I have over 27 years of experience in Military of Pakistan managing security, administrative, managerial responsibilities including projects and human management and logistics and accounts. I have led and participated in number of major operations on security management in Pakistan including IDPs crises of Malakand Division, KP in 2007-2009 under Special Support Group of Humanitarian Services; Earthquake in Muzafarabad, AJK, 2005, high level security management and response operation on ‘Siachin Glacier’ in severe weather conditions at the height of 22,000 feet for fifteen months and undertook operations to respond to various sectarian issues occurred in different parts of the country in different time periods. In addition to security operations, I have managed number of managerial responsibilities including Human Resource management including recruitments, management and training of large teams of various professional tiers and expertise. I have also been in lead role in establishing and maintaining coordination with various stakeholders including civil government at provincial and districts level and sometimes with UN and other developmental/humanitarian organizations particularly during Malakand IDPs crises, Earthquake, and other operations. In my managerial responsibilities, I have been assessing security situations and compiling reports along with recommendations at strategic and operational level for senior management. I have also managed number of projects on logistics after completing Army Logistics Staff Course in 2005. Moreover, I have also managed responsibilities with regard to accounts and audit of army programs and projects. I have two master degrees in ‘Business Administration’ with HR as specialization and ‘International Relations’. Based on background and experience in Military of Pakistan, my academic qualifications and exposure to diversified disciplines of work and stakeholders, I find myself very relevant to the applied post and confident that I can undertake responsibilities against the ToRs.
