Syeda Saima Mazhar Professional Profile An educational professional for the past 20 years, with expertise in early childhood education and development. I have a diverse experience of working with the private as well as public schools in urban and rural settings. I believe in bringing micro-level changes to achieve the sustainable development goal of inclusive and equitable quality education addressing gender biases at the grassroots level. I have expertise in ensuring the improvement of pedagogical practices and optimizing the learning environment of schools addressing barriers to learning. On my return I requested the Dean of Melbourne Graduate School of Education to help arrange similar observations of Australia Schools. I observed the Early Year Set-up on Haileybury Central Campus, University High School – Carlton and Brunswick Primary School in Melbourne. These guided tours enhanced my understanding of role of education in raising civilized nations. My research project was on the interventions to improve girl education in developing countries which made me understand the cultural sensitivities better. I have been associated with early year education for the past 14 years and have worked in different roles in Ciera, Resource Academia, The Mount Sinai School, International Islamic University School Islamabad and AlHuda International School. I have been engaged in the school project from the inception to execution stages. IA team-worker with a proactive approach towards problem-solving and leadership approach of motivation to ensure collaboration to achieve organizational goals and meet deadlines. I am a practitioner and an advocate of lifelong learning who enjoys working on challenging projects and adjusts to the new environment swiftly.
