TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN To achieve something in life it is always needed that you work hard and achieve your set goals. I have always been proactive in terms of making my dreams come true. The thought of becoming an engineer always excited me as soon as I hit the age of sixteen. One of my teachers who was an engineer told us how exciting it is to learn about how things work. His talks always motivated me to go out and experience the feeling myself. As I was the first one to pursue a technical degree of this sort my family always supported me to go after my dreams and achieve them. Due to this motivation and guidance I was able to gain admission into one of the largest and most prestigious institute of Pakistan –UET Lahore. I made sure my hard work was well paid off so I enrolled myself into the field of mechanical engineering, as this beautiful and vast field had so much to offer for my thirst for knowledge. During my stay at the university I have gained a good GPA and also maintained that I grow not only as a student but also an individual. I have been part of ASME as an executive body member and also taken a step further into the world by being part of the team that organized TEDxUET an international forum in the university. Keeping in mind the need for technical knowledge I have done two internships that have enabled me to fall in love with my field even more. I believe that when you have the hunger to learn more and more you eventually end up gaining more from your career. As the world has numerous possibilities I wish to be one small yet effective part in this world. Research is but a small word to me, but meaningful research is what I intend to do. I want to be a source of some addition to the needs of humans if I can. I wish to be that person that can maybe in future form a more sophisticated form of production for a product or even design a new part for an automobile. I dream big and I know what weight it puts on my shoulders at the same time, but what matters is that I am determined to reach far and wide to gain the momentum to catch a hold of my dreams before they outrun me. Joining your prestigious institute will be my stop towards achieving that goal. Given the chance I will prove my enthusiasm and vigor to ensure I hold up to your expectations. Moreover, it will be an absolute honor to have the name of your university to be added in my resume as it has given this world many brilliant minds before.
