The under signed belongs district Chitral, which is one of the remotest district in KPK Pakistan, having Master Degree from University of Agriculture KPK Peshawar in 1st division in 1992 with specialization in Horticulture. I would like to mention that I have over 25 years working experiences with national and international reputable organizations against different positions like Project Forest Officer, Project Agriculture Officer, Conservancy Facilitator, Team Leader, Agriculture Officer, Senior Agriculture Field Officer, Officer Project & Technical, Technical Advisor Livelihood and NRM and at present doing consultancy Intercooperation a Swiss Development Organization working in Pakistan. The interventions carried out in the past with different organizations are social mobilization, agriculture, forestry,consevation,rehabilitation,NRM,Resource development, livestock, Human Resource Management and Community Development,etc. The main tasks performed were consist of conservation of plants and animals, application of Slope and Agriculture Land TechnologySALT, Bio-Engineering Techniques, efficient utilization of available water resources, introduction of water harvesting techniques ,promotion of Non-Timber Forest ProductsNTFPs,Honey Bee and Honey Production as income generating activity, mushroom production and marketing ,capacity building of farmers ,pine nut Chilghuza collection,drying,packaging and harvesting techniques, food production, food security, climate change adaptation , agriculture ecosystem,biodiversity,Livelihood opportunities for marginalized segments of the society, land reform practices, dissemination of modern agricultural technologies, Farmer Field School, and playing of agriculture advisory roles. Besides of these, synergies with institutions and departments, net working, knowledge management practices, success stories, interest groups formation, minutes writings, proposal and budget preparation, liaising with stakeholders , planning and chairing in thematic areas like meetings and workshops were also remained parts of my responsibilities and utilized the services of University of Agriculture Peshawar, Agriculture Research Institute Tarnab Peshawar as resource person beside Agriculture Extension,Cabi Bio-Science Islamabad,NIFA,CCRI Pirsabaq,FATA Secreteriate,local organizations and institutions etc. All the above mentioned achievements are addressing food security, environment, climate change adaptation, and ecosystem, socio-economic condition of the marginalized segments of the society and poverty alleviation issues.
