My present assignment comes to conclusion as Company Secretary of FFC; the Top Company of Pakistan Stock Exchange. Here, I, being head of Corporate Affairs Department, besides being advisor to the Board of Directors, am responsible for all internal and external communication and represent the Company at national and international forums. I being the focal person have developed and am maintaining good relationships with local and foreign partners and liaison with the government line ministries, besides the corporate regulators. In Pakistan’s typical socio-political environment, the military background, experience in management and connections with higher civilian officials provides added advantage as head of Corporate Affairs. Earlier, I have served as Brigadier in Pakistan Army for 32 years, in various command and staff assignments involving recruitment, administration, crisis management, mobilizing volunteers, security, training, logistics, welfare, planning and employment in operational environment including emergency response, disaster risk reduction/ management and rehabilitation in aid of civil government. As a thoroughbred professional officer was trained and groomed at best training institutions in Pakistan and abroad in leadership, administration, human resource management, planning, research methodology, policy and strategy formulation. At National Defence University, had been responsible for training of the senior Foreign and Pakistani civilian and military bureaucracy in National Security / Strategy Formulation. I also served as Associate Dean at National University of Sciences and Technology (Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies) responsible for Masters Program in International Affairs
