Sudheer Ahmed
My keen interest to work in the research on the marine environment including coastal communities, sustainable fisheries management, sea turtle, whale, and dolphin conservation, and field activities in the coastal and deep-sea, and also interesting to work for monitoring of ghost net. I have been working with WWF-Pakistan since Jan 2019 as a research associate in the marine program. I have worked on sea turtle nesting data collection for assessment of turtle population in Daran Beach Jiwani, one of the important Green Turtle nesting sites in Pakistan. I have also been actively engaged in creating awareness among the fisher communities and conducting educational and conservational talks to a wide range of audiences on marine conservation issues in Pakistan and worldwide and encourage fisherman to play their role in the conservation of marine endangered species. I have conducted a survey on Abundance Lost and Discarded Fishing Gears ALDGH and collected data from coastal communities in Pakistan.
